A glowing recommendation for Nanny Lek! We arrived in Thailand with our 4-month-old baby. The entire pregnancy, I dreamed of pad thai, foot massages, and soaking in the beautiful scenery to ease the postpartum blues. But towards the end of our trip, I fell down a step, broke my foot, and found myself in a wheelchair and on crutches – stuck in Koh Phangan. Luckily, we had Nanny Lek with us, a true Thai Mary Poppins. I don’t know what I would have done without her. ❤️
Even before the accident, she cared for our baby as if he were her own. She watched over him, stayed with him alone, and gave us the freedom to go out on dates in the evenings (who would have thought?) and enjoy massages, the pool, shopping at 7-Eleven, and socializing with neighbors as if we were on a backpacking trip again. Lek extended his nap times as recommended by our sleep consultant (thanks to her, he now naps for 1.5 to 2 hours!). She played with him, bathed him, put him to sleep, took him to the pool, and helped with his developmental exercises. Within a month, he was crawling on all fours! Lek even helped me introduce him to solid foods and taught our little pacifier refuser to take a pacifier and drink from a bottle.
She did everything for us – made phone calls, booked taxis, helped find accessible accommodation, went shopping, tidied up, cleaned, and made sure we felt as comfortable as possible. She assisted us with packing, helped with transitions, anticipated every detail, and sanitized bottles and the pump.
After my injury, Lek started managing everything. She stayed with the baby and ensured I had everything I needed. From that moment, she stayed by our side, not only taking care of the baby but also looking after me.
Our little one was so happy with her, and we felt like we had a family member with us. We had such a wonderful time with her; I trust her completely, love her dearly, and am incredibly grateful she was there for us. ❤️
We just finished two weeks in Koh Samui with Nilnade Lek, and I want to highly recommend her! From the very first moment she joined us, she jumped right into action. I felt like she could read the situation and respond without me even needing to ask.
The kids absolutely adored her! She’s responsible, warm, motherly, and attentive to every detail – from covering my little one’s ears when the wind picked up, giving them water, applying mosquito repellent, and all those little things beyond regular care. She played with them in the sand, pool, and kids’ club and even ran after my eldest when he was running wild at Ark Bar. She even bought them little gifts multiple times.
She speaks English and knows some basic Hebrew, and my older son even learned a few English words from her! In short, I highly recommend her. Oh, and as a bonus – she’s an excellent photographer!
A very warm recommendation for Nilnade Lek – I have no words, simply a super nanny! She was with us for 6 days in Koh Samui, taking care of our two girls, aged 2 and 4. An amazing woman, very responsible and attentive to every detail. She joined us on a boat trip, had no problem being in the pool with the kids, and stayed at night to watch them when we went out for dinner. The kids connected with her instantly. Treat her like family, and you’ll receive twice as much in return!
